Sony Canopus for KDDI:
Just after the announcement of Sony Xperia Compact, Sony seems to be busy in manufacturing two new flagship devices. One of the Sony upcoming flagship is codenamed as Sony Canopus.
According to the authorities in Japan, lately Sony Xperoa Canopus was certified in Japan for KDDI. This devices acrries a model number PM-0750-BV.
Sony Canopus Alleged Specifications:
According to our sources, Sony Canopus will have both LTE and non-LTE versions targetted for different markets. Sony Xperia Canopus will come with a quad-core Snapdragon 800 processor. It is most likely to come out with Android KitKkat 4.4.2. We also heard that Sony Canopus will be a 5 inches device and KDDI will launch it as Xperia SOL25
We also saw an alleged design of Sony Canopus on the Internet.
Well, talking about the design (if it is the real design) then one must applaud Sony. Sony has once again done a pretty good job in the design department. The screen bezels look pretty good and thin. We can even see a camera shutter key. This means Sony Canopus will come with a dedicated camera key.
MWC 2014 is not far. It is just around the corner and we might see great news coming our way.
