According to our sources Google
may decide to quit the Nexus 7 for Nexus 8 in 2014. Well, this may come out as
a huge surprise to many but after looking at the market competition and other 7
inch tablets available in the market it may appear that it is more of a business
tactic from Google. Actually, there are multiple manufacturers offering budget
7 inches tablets and this has in fact bothered manufacturers like Google. And
according to latest leaks it is expected that Google will ditch the Nexus 7 in favor
of Nexus 8.
Moreover, the demand of next
generation Nexus 7 is not as higher as it used to before. So, this has also
played a major role and has forced Google to think over it. You can find brands
like Asus, Samsung, Amazon Kindle Fire and many others in Walmart fighting in
the 7 inch zone. And when you look at the competition you will only iPad mini
and LG G Pad 8.3. If you analyse the market properly you will come to
conclusion that it was the very reason Apple decided to go for an 8 inch iPad
mini.
Moving ahead with the leaks, it
is also expected that Google will go for Intel based processor. Though nothing
has been finalized yet but Google opt for the latest Intel mobile hardware
instead of Qualcomm’s Snapdragon. This does not mean that Qualcomm is out of
the race. It is still going to be a tough competition between Intel and
Qualcomm but our leaks suggests that we possibly see an Intel based Nexus 8
in2014.
It’s just the start of 2014 and
we are having multiple leaks for different manufacturers. We will have to wait
for some more time before we could get some legitimate news regarding Intel
Based Nexus 8. So, keep your fingers crossed and see what Google has in store
for you.
