Exynos 5 Octa powered Galaxy Note 3 get Android KitKat

Samsung Galaxy Note 3 Snapdragon 800 version is already receiving the latest android 4.4 KitKat in Poland and it is expected that more countries will start receiving the fresh version of Android very soon.

Today, right after one week of Snapdragon 800 Note 3 Android 4.4 KitKat update, the Exynos 5 Octa powered Galaxy Note 3 is also going to enjoy the sweetness of KitKat. Improvements in Android 4.4 KitKat:

Samsung has greatly improved the stability and performance in this new update. For the first time, Samsung has decided to go with the original Android notification color theme. You can see white colored notification icons and battery indicator. Samsung has already matched the icons colors with its own theme. It did not even adapted the blue color of Ice-cream sandwich and Jelly Bean but this time Samsung has changed a lot of different things and have decided to match the original Android color theme.

Moreover, other noticeable changes include the complete Album Art on the lock screen. Previously you only had a very small Album Art on the lock screen while listening to music but now you can see complete Album Art on the lock screen. Samsung has also added a short cut camera key on the lock screen. You will also notice an improvement in performance both in actual usage and benchmark results.

Samsung has also focused on improving the RAM management. You will now notice that you have a more free RAM available which will certainly improve your user experience. They have also fixed few bugs and have improved battery performance as well. You will now get more standby time as compared to the previous version of Android.
